Michele Jackman MSW, MA has been facilitating and consulting with businesses, non-profits and governmental agencies, special jurisdictions, and government-community projects for over 30 years. She also has facilitated business mergers and acquisitions. Michele also Teaches statewide courses on “Facilitation”, "Collaboration and Partnership Development" for many audiences. She provides training/mentoring for internal facilitators in areas of technology, service delivery, training and problem solving for companies small and large.

Michele has worked for a number of years on a number of international policy issues, as well as State and Local issues. She is highly effective with diverse groups, generations and cultures, as well as being an ongoing on call policy advisor throughout California, helping with many complex projects in all aspects of policy.
- Specialist in facilitating complex changes in mission, programs, projects, or shared Leadership roles in various areas of planning, energy, health, DPR, DMV, CalPERS and education (Also trains facilitators for skills in change management projects )
- Has facilitated highly charged public meetings for the Resources agency, providing facilitation at high charged meetings and provided facilitation/ conflict resolution for internal Executive team agreements, and program management meetings for two Governors.
- Worked with various National and International policy issues during career which necessitated interagency collaboration, leveraging of resources, and role clarification.
- Worked with National Park Service(NPS) on Channel Islands park relationship with donors, negotiating various agreements. Facilitated other collaborative meetings on operations with other fire fighting agencies, and facilitated a Department wide session in Boise.
- Facilitates planning, negotiations, and collaboration meetings for Contractors and Governmental entities, assisting with project management elements, risk analysis and prevention of conflicts and negative consequences.
- Assisted as a facilitator for mergers and acquisitions, Thomson International Publishing . Facilitated meetings of CEO/CFOs in London, England. Had been facilitating coordination of operations for international offices.
- Facilitated collaboration/problem prevention meeting between County Counsel, Planning Department, and Board with Chevron Representatives in 1980's Oil Platform negotiations.
- Facilitated a multi-agency series of meetings on County
Initiatives for the AO of Santa Barbara County which resulted in
the elimination of a National "march on Santa Barbara" and several new and affordable initiatives for homeless treatment. - Facilitated off-site policy and planning sessions for Board of Supervisors (3 counties),City Councils, State agencies. Facilitated partnership/ collaboration meetings for Department of Parks and Recreation ( taught and coordinated the Mid-Management Practices Program, which included a module on partnering/ collaborations for over 5 years).
- Was the Technical Advisor on the national roll out of the Conservation, Clean-up, and Control of Pollution Program (C3P2) DOD program which was integrated into all fitness reports and goals for all senior level officers DOD wide, and designed the Conference program for the launch.
Overall, Michele will provides high level executive coaching and strategy development to Governmental Sector leaders, Senior Executives, Executive Directors, and Project Leaders in areas of planning, management, communications, conflict resolution, team building and strategic thinking.
She can assist with strategic planning, and staffing issues when conflicts and challenges arise in complex agreements.
She is a HR Professional mentor in Organizational Development, fostering models of "appreciative inquiry" methodology. She focuses on positive future changes based on leveraging the talents, skills, and experience levels in groups.
